Deep Work Keypoints
1). Walking in nature increase focus where as walking in the busy street can consume your so much important attention
2). Zeigarnik effect : put a consider it done saying where it's time to stop. This will signal your brain that you have to stop and you can stop the former task from consuming your attention
3). Social media has massively and most negatively impacted our attention
4). Don't take breaks from distraction instead take breaks from focus
5). Internet use is synonymous with seeking distracting stimuli
6). You can schedule distraction time instead of focus. You can do it hourly basis or hour in a day
7). Stop watch and timers are really helpful in doing tasks
8). Memory depend on attention. If your attention is low you will memories really less. Good attention can make a non memorisable person memories a lot of things
9). Memorize using scenes. You can image your home and remember whole deck of card
10). Any benefit approach: we tend to forget large negative aspects because it has few good things
11). The craftman approach to tool selection: positive factors overweight the negative ones
12). Write specific goals, not too specific that it became just a one time goal

15). Take a pause for 30 day or 15 days from social media and see if you really need it or not without telling anyone
This is practical because we don't leave social media in hope that it will someday be important
16). Social media is not soo much important it's just fear of missing out that makes it feel important
17). I think I have realised I will buy kindle with my first income because I think it will be really tough to overcome my habit of Mobile addiction instead I can replace it with kindle (a healthy addiction)
18). Planning is so important for productivity because distraction fills itself in ones life a bubble nothing inside but have lots of volume
19). You should ask yourself or your boss that how much time will there be of shallow work
20). Accept what you meant to do. Don't say things like "God what are doing", "am I the only unlucky person" etc etc
21). It should be really hard for someone to make you say yes to anything which will hinder your deep work(best for working professionals not too much useful for students)
22). Don't just define time for deep work also limit yourself from some of the things like number of flights per year etc etc
